You are free to take offense at whatever you choose, from someone else's opinion to the color or the sky, but if it was my actual intention to insult or troll you I would be far more blunt about it. Now,  I'm sure you'll take offense at this post too for the same reason as the last one [because I disagree with you] but just like you can be insulted at will, I am free not to care.

First: it is not early in the development. Majalis has been working on this for two YEARS at this point and their concept for the game (and some of the art) is even older than that. That concept being a sexy trap RPG. That's part of why it is so much better than most games out there, they stuck with it. And quite frankly if there is anything in this thread that is insulting it's you taking so much time and effort so lightly.

Second: you see the protagonist in every piece of sex art they do which would all have to be updated or changed if they really wanted to add females in and maintain the quality of the game. Not to mention all the hard coded male pronouns that would have to be replaced by tags. It's not like there's one big wall of text and they can just hit control f and replace them all, that's a lot of work to set up and debug.

Third: just because something makes perfect sense TO YOU does not mean it is a good idea. Go to hentai-foundry.com and look at Majalis past art and stories. Take a long look and see if you can find a common theme. Now, what I get from that is the content in the game is what Majalis actually likes. They like to draw and write about it and while other things exist, those other things are the significant minority. When people stop doing what they like just because others like other things more it has an effect on their work, one I have no shame in saying I hope can be avoid.

Fourth: It may be selfish to say that I don't want Majalis to spend their time making a female protagonist. But honey, you're missing one very important point: this is a SEX game. People are allowed to be selfish on that subject. You don't get to demand affirmative action on who people fuck, and equal opportunity porn isn't a thing either. If I want them to not spend their time adding something which does nothing for me, I can say so and no one is going to take you seriously if you argue that I can't or shouldn't.

In summary: you're ignorant, you're arrogant, you're condescending, and I hope they keep the player solely male for both the reasons listed here and in my last post. But I will throw you one bone:

Your idea is terrible. There, NOW I've insulted it.

Let me save you guys some time on the female protagonist note: It ain't happening. The question's come up before and the developer response was the best that might happen is they change the pronouns and lock out the content that involves your character's dick. And that's barely a footnote on the todo list as Majalis is busy adding quality content and features to the game.

The simple fact is that this is one of about 2 or 3 games out there with a primary focus of futa on male content, but if you want to be a customizable protagonist (male, female, trans, whatever) who gets raped by futas or guys, there are literally dozens of games with that already. Majalis has a fairly good base of support for Tales right now. Changing their whole development plan and slowing/stopping new content just so they can go back and rework their entire thing to attempt to appeal to a larger base that already has a WIDE variety of options would not be a smart move.

And it's not one we want them to make either. We like the game as it is, we like the content they make, we don't want to see the whole thing turned more generic in the name of pandering to a bigger crowd. Even if they did want to do that (which I sincerely hope they don't), it would make FAR more sense to finish up development for Tales and make a whole new game from the ground up because, trust me: turning a project in a whole new direction after years of developing it is a really stupid idea. Thankfully, for now, if you want to play a female: look elsewhere.
